Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) is a progressive disease characterized by dyspnea which often results in anxiety and depression. There are data showing that structured yoga programs may help alleviate these symptoms. This study was conducted to determine the safety and efficacy of 2-hour weekly Iyengar yoga (IY) practice for 12 weeks in improving health related quality of life (HRQL), particularly anxiety and depression, in patients with PAH.
